Peat is one of the most important organic fertilizers, which has its own mineral base and ability to retain moisture. Milled lowland peat (black peat) is more fertile, because it has a greater degree of decomposition than other types of peat, so it contains more nutrients and trace elements.
Milled lowland peat is used to enhance the fertility of poor soil, in order to ensure consistency of sandy soils or to loosen clay soils. This type of peat is an environmentally friendly product, added peat to soil creates a favorable water-air climate, peat replenishes stocks of organic matter.

Milled sour peat (pH 5.5–7.0)
Milled peat, with a pH of 5.5–7.0, is obtained from lowland or drained bogs. It contains more humus and mineral impurities, is darker in color, and has a denser structure.
Main advantages:
- Ideal for producing substrates for acid-loving plants (blueberries, rhododendrons, conifers).
- Improves soil structure, helps retain moisture and nutrients.
- Natural product without chemical additives.
Application areas:
- for creating balanced air-water climate of soils;
- to enhance the fertility of poor soil, to ensure consistency of sandy soils or for loosening clay soils;
- to replenish the soil organic matter and increase its fertility;
- for the production of mixtures for lawns;
- for the preparation of peat substrates for growing mushrooms, plants, seedlings and other crops;
- for the production of liquid fertilizers (Potassium Humate and others).
