A universal substrate made from acidic high-moor peat. A professional base for growing seedlings, indoor plants, and garden crops.
Product Description
This universal substrate, based on acidic high-moor peat, is a natural soil material formed by the prolonged decomposition of moss plants (primarily sphagnum). Its fibrous structure offers excellent agronomic properties, providing plants with optimal conditions for rapid growth and development.
Our substrate undergoes mechanical and fractional purification, guaranteeing consistent homogeneity and the absence of large inclusions, rhizomes, and foreign matter. The product is ready for use either in its pure form or as a base for professional mixes.
Benefits for Plants
High Water Capacity Peat can retain 5-6 times its own weight in moisture, reducing the frequency of watering and providing plants with moisture over a long period.
Natural Breathability The fibrous structure creates air pockets, preventing acidification, root rot, and soil compaction.
Stable acidity
An acidic pH (3.0–4.0) is suitable for:
- vegetable seedlings,
- flowers,
- conifers,
- berry bushes (especially blueberries and rhododendrons).
The product can also be used to adjust the pH of alkaline soils.
Natural and Eco-Friendly Peat does not contain pathogens, weed seeds, mold, heavy metals, or toxins. It is a completely natural product that has passed radiation and environmental safety tests.
Accelerated Germination and Rooting The combination of moisture, air, and a soft structure allows seeds to germinate faster, and the root system to develop actively and evenly.
