Raised-bog (white) peat acid is a natural organic material that has a light structure, high acidity and excellent water-holding properties, which makes it ideal for growing acid-loving plants. It is used as a soil improver or as an ingredient for various peat substrates, with an initial pH of 2,8-4,0, but according to customer requirements, the pH level can be increased. Due to its natural properties, light raised-bog peat is a universal material that improves soil quality and promotes healthy plant growth.
Use::
- for growing acid-loving plants (conifers — fir, juniper, thuja, flowers — rhododendron, azalea, berries — blackberry, lingonberry, blueberry, cranberry)
- is used as a basis for creating specialized peat substrates for seedlings, indoor plants and flowers that require high acidity
- for retaining moisture in the soil, reducing evaporation
- for protecting the root system of plants from temperature changes.
Advantages:
- Ideal for producing substrates for acid-loving plants (blueberries, rhododendrons, conifers).
- Improves soil structure, promotes moisture and nutrient retention.
- Natural product without chemical additives.
Specifications:
- is extracted from raised bogs, where moss and other organic matter naturally decomposes.
- has a light, loose structure with a fine to medium particle size (0-20 mm), providing good water permeability and air permeability.
- has a high water retention capacity; peat can hold a significant amount of water, which promotes uniform soil moisture.
- has a high organic content (approximately 95%), which improves soil structure and increases its fertility.
- is highly acidic: ideal for growing acid-loving plants.
