NESTRO wood briquettes are a modern, environmentally friendly and cost-effective type of solid fuel. They are produced by pressing dry sawdust and wood chips, mainly from deciduous trees (oak, beech), without adding glue, resins and other chemicals.
The briquettes are shaped like a dense cylinder with a diameter of about 9 cm and a length of up to 35 cm. Due to their high density (up to 1.2 t/m³), they burn longer than regular firewood, providing a stable temperature and high heat output.

High calorific value — up to 5000 kcal/kg (17–19 MJ/kg), which makes briquettes an excellent alternative to firewood and coal.
Environmentally friendly — a minimum of carbon dioxide is released during combustion, there is virtually no smoke or soot.

Minimum ash — the ash content of NESTRO briquettes does not exceed 0.5–1.0%, which simplifies equipment maintenance.
